The universe *was* created out of nothing. For every particle in the universe, there is an anti-particle, (+1 and -1) and if you collide them, they annihilate each other out of existence. So one could say that the sum total of everything in the universe is exactly zero, and before the big bang, there was nothing, not even time. In fact, there is no "before the big bang"; it was the beginning of existence, and it all came out of exactly nothing. What caused the big bang? That is not even a valid question, because there was no existence until it happened, therefore nothing to "cause" it. Perhaps in trillions/quadrillions of years from now, all matter will drift back into a central black hole, matter and anti-matter cancelling each other out, time slowing down/stopping due to the immense gravitational pull, and all time and space will blink back out of existence again.

People will always fight. Also, he didnt made CFW, just to make things clear. IIRC Kmeaw put everything into one pup, so you wouldn't have to do few other things, and just start PS3 and be good to go.

And geohot's first CFW WAS usable. kakaroto the clown's wasn't. (he didn't patch npdrm, for which we didn't have keys, other than that his philosophical CFW appeared even before geohot's)

So in a crucial chain that led to CFW, geohot appears TWO TIMES. He isn't a nice person. But he IS (ok was) one damn of a hacker that played KEY role in hacking PS3.

It was AN EXPLOIT (buffer overflow in USB descriptor). In a code that was COMPLETELY OBSCURE before geohot's hardware glitch explloit that lead to dumping of lv1!!!

No there wouldn't be any jailbreak without geohots exploit.
