A real investigator* will also use his/hers analytical mind to look for an attack vector to approach and solve the problem. It will also use well known, proven tactics in use ever since the first reversing/dump was made in computing time.

A real investigative* document will also set aside ego, personal gain with as only end result the fullfilling of further completen and deepen such combined effort.

a real scientific investigator* will no accuse people wildly on a forum just to hide its incapabilities.

Well anyone that has ever talked to euss or defyboy knows that most of the information isnt false. They do what they can to maintain it, but they couldnt help the fact that Math came in and started editing certain things

The wiki is the best source of ps3 information there is.

Now how does old Jaicrab stuff relevant to TB being cracked? Did anyone even read the information he posted? Nodex did the same crap. He posted bull**** apache mail server logs, and he posted fake pics on twitter and yet everyone still believed him.....

NO I dont turn against people, but I can spot a fake a mile away. Maybe he has some real skill, but him doing something that a person I know that knows that dongle inside and out cant do is a little far fetched.

Not nut riding here or anything, but Crashserious is the only one that is really trying to break the dongle from how it appears. I would take his word over anyone that is here less than a month. Crash doesnt start 12 posts bull**** threads with someones elses txt log.

Absolutely, I totally agree. I think everyone here knows that the wiki is totally the tits, and euss and defyboy deserve lifelong props for the crazy amount of work and intelligence they've poured into it.

I think, however, that this thread exploded based on a misconception that Calliope was attacking the wiki. I don't think he actually was. Go back and read his original posts (e.g. I started at page 1 and CTRL+F for "wiki") and I think he was just trying to point out that sometimes even a good source can contain bad information (i.e. Math editing certain things like you said). It's not anyone's fault, it just happens when there are rival forces in a scene like this, some fighting dirty for money.

I'm not concerned about the wiki containing false information -- that point is kinda irrelevant in my mind, because even in the event that it does happen, someone much more knowledgeable than me will certainly correct it. I respect that. (Btw, thanks!) What I AM concerned about however, is that this forum allows free exchange of information and ideas -- which certainly can be criticized, and Calliope is not exempt -- but this thread isn't even 12 hours old and it's been derailed into a wiki battle. Let the man do a little exploring if that's what he wants. No one is saying drink his Kool-Aid.

He says "There is some misinformation", if he had said there "was", then perhaps people wouldn't be so annoyed, but saying there "is", when the likes of @euss looks after and maintains the wiki and keeps an eye on all the edits, will get people annoyed.
