I meant that if people look at the duplex release of batman arkham city they will find duplex released a master disc iso for debugs that has a fself on it and not the original eboot.

So if people want to see a elf from TB eboot look there. You still need to be able to unfself the eboot in the iso.
Masterdisc encryption has been documented on http://www.ps3devwiki.com/ for a long time. In fact, not even mathieulh himself did not know that crypto, iso loader, keys etc where already on http://www.ps3devwiki.com/ when he trolled the scene with false and incomplete info (which was nice to catch him redhanded on).

The entire PS3 scene is all about drama. You'll get haters and criticisers who feel that just because they couldnt do something one noone else will be able to and so just spam threads saying the person is wrong.

You get people whoa are just fed up with this scene when someone posts some info and that they will be workign a little on it, regulars post that thats interesting and hope it leads to something, and then people automatically assume a new cfw is a week away, and when nothing is released they start fuming over it.

This is why a lot of us believe the ps3 scene is dead. People come an go or are chased away by spoilt brats who cant wait any longer and so the devs dont want to give anything to these ungrateful retards.

It happened to zadow before you, 90% of the comments people made were deconstructive rather than constructive, so he just left the forum. Dont know if he's still working on it or on irc, but that's what happens.

So best thing is that if you know what you are doing and dont need help, dont post anything until you have something to release.
If you need a little help make a post and see what people say, if it ends up being full of haters, forget about that post and carry on.

lulz to this whole thread ..

funny how people start insulting Euss and Defy who have been around the scene for ever ..

if it wasnt for them you guys would still be following Nodex / Ac1d or one of the other fame whores on twitter ..

this "new" information collected by Calliope was known for a long time and is USELESS !!

even the code for dumping the ram is WRONG ...

its not their fault most of the guys who want to crack TB so badly have no idea of coding ..

you guys should be happy they still take the time to jump in and tell you that stuff is bull**** or not ..

16 pages because someone copies and pastes some quotes .. sersly .. ??

@Calliope
buy a f***ing usb traffic analyser and post the usb logs if you want to help the "scene"

wow .. cracking TB dongle accomplished ^^

Holy ****, @Calliope simply compiled some past information, and so many people are jumping down his/her throat. Maybe we should ONLY speak about new information, or True Blue around here from now on... which means we would only discuss TB To be honest, what s/he did is no different than what anyone writing a tutorial does, it's all prior information being shared as a collective, or any different than the 2349082349082 threads about TB that span 20+ pages. All s/he is trying to do is help. People b*tch because all the devs left, nobody wants to help, yada yada yada. Can you blame them? Look what happens when others try doing productive things for the scene.

This scene IS totally f*cked up. Everyone wants news about new breakthroughs, this feature or that, but nobody wants to take the potential steps to get there. Instead everyone is stuck on cracking True Blue.

The part where you criticize AC1D is retarded though.. I firmly believe (yea, firmly) that they are working on something, which some high ranked members can confirm legit. You could/should follow some of the people working in/with AC1D on twitter, if you would want to see what is going on..

I consider it all BS until we end users get something we can use.

If I could do something I would, but if someone else offers to do the work, what are we to say even if the work has been done by someone else. There's no harm to anyone, except those who get hyped that any post of info means there will be cfw soon. So if these people want to do what they want to do, fine, if they want to post stuff, fine, if other people want to post helpful advice fine; but those who just repeatedly put down people are no help at all.

That's the main problem here, people are more than happy to criticise til they are blue in the face than help.

The scene is sad, because of the people in it..

Everyone needs to look at themselves and say what do i bring to the table..
If that answer is just smart ass comments I think you should move along.. Because its no good for the scene...

Anyone who says TB is killing the scene.. your in the scene for the wrong reasons.. What is killing the scene is people appetite for piracy... TB i dont agree with.. But if everyone focus is tearing them down then your in it for piracy.. Because why else would you care about it..

So if your always talking TB good or bad you are a pirate,

The focus should be on homebrew....

Only thing TB has done is shown how many pirates are in the scene
