but when i was running "FLASH FUN" i got error 10001111
and now i think i got ylod =(

Hey everyone hoping ye can help, im currently trying to set up my PS3 slim for fast dual booting using the e3 flasher limited edition but im stuck at a certain point. I have all the wires soldered inside the PS3 and points A-B scratched out. I can successfully downgrade my first 1 TB Hdd to true blue V2 3.55CFW, at which point i flash the on board nor chip of the E3 flasher with the CFW. Once this is done i turn off PS3 by removing power cord, i remove the CFW 3.55 Hdd and insert a 160GB hdd and switch the E3 flasher from CFW to OFW and turn on the PS3 at which point i try to upgrade that 160GB hdd to OFW 4.00 but i keep getting 'error data is corrupted 8002f157' even in recovery mode (holding down power button two beeps). Any help ye could give would be great thanks.

I have recived my E3 Flasher limited with all its parts and an E3 Card reader.
Do I need any thing else ? I've seen a tutorial video for the downgrade that had a PS downgrade USB.

No body mentiond that I need to have that. In fact in modchipcentral, they said I only need E3 Card reader.

Please explain guys

you can use E3 card reader instead of PS downgrade dongle.

follow this guide

you will use E3 card in chapter 2 part 1 . and don't forget to upgrade the E3 card reader for downgrading function http://www.ps3devwiki.com/files/PSGrade/E3cardreader/

The tutorial keeps saying the "downgrade dongle". What is it ? That what I was concerned about.

The downgrade dongle is the 'E3 card reader' it puts the Ps3 into factory service mode, if you dont have an e3 card reader you may use a jailbroken psp for this purpose instead.

I understand. My question is , If I can use the Card reader, from where will I get the data of PS downgradere or the software that mimics the jailbreak dongle. All they say is bring the dongle and use it. They dont say download this and put it in the usb which will do the downgrade if you did not own a dongle.
