It may not be 'the people' who start something, but unless the people back it and support it, it fails at the starting blocks.

'The people' is no longer a simple unified group of beings, it is whichever section of individuals support a faction.

Back to my politics comment with this (and using the UK political parties as an example).....

The Conservatives will declare their followers as 'the people' and their followers will agree to that title.

Labour will also declare their followers as 'the people', and again, their followers will agree to that title.

Personally I am of neither peoples, but I Am a person, so where do I fit into the grand scheme? Answer is that as far as the controlling powers are concerned I do not, and that goes for wars as well.

If you support a group, either from your own beliefs, or from gain you will get by doing so, then for that group you are one of 'the people' and if you disagree then you are not.

War has always been used to 'get your own way' but now it is even more of a game than it ever was and that one sole fact is what kills and cripples more people and lives than anything else.

If you have to fight for your freedom then so be it, but if you fight for your or someone else's power and gain then you are either a tool or a killer.

Yes, the USA are well known for funding such things, but so is the UK and everyone else, just to a lesser degree.

The question you need to ask though is what would happen if they did not fund it, would peace and harmony prosper and grow?

Simple answer is not a snow balls chance in hell.

The USA are a good and easy target to blame, but if there was not the demand, there could not be the supply.

Yes, I know I have simplified things a Lot, but it is humanity that causes, starts, and profits from wars, not one single section of it.

I am lucky that I live in a country not suffering from the direct consequences of current wars, but on the flip side it does allow me to see the bigger picture with less bias, and to people on both sides of the fences, all I can honestly say that I see is humans torturing and killing humans for monetary and power based gains regardless of their beliefs and 'honest' motives

good point , but if usa wouldnt had funded the terrorist networks in 80s , 3000 ppl wouldnt had to die on 9/11 neither did 15000 soviet troops and of course 2 million ppl would not had to leave their homes , this also spread fire to chechnya and bosnia , further killing and displacing ppl , so who is to blame? the evil scientist or the frankstein ?

Simple answer to that is Humans.

We stink as a species, and until we grow up and stop acting like children there is only One logical and statistical conclusion to our existence on this planet......

We destroy ourselves and as much of everything else as we can.
