hey im new to ps3 mod, but have been modding psp, wii, and soon vita for a few years. i kinda screwed myself when i bought a used fat 40gb that just happened to be on OFW 4.11. im just going to lurk in the shadows until i see some proof of a way to soft mod, cuz i dont want to do any hard modding.... yet =D

Are the folks working on the CFWs working straight on 4.11, or do we need to wait until the OFWs between 3.55 and 4.11 have CFW first? I hope this question is appropriate, I couldn't find another thread discussing this specifically, but I am new, so forgive me if this is a forum "faux pas," however I think the OP could benefit from this answer as well.

We unlock one version we unlock them all (up to the present moment). An exploit should hopefully work for all 3.56.. And the same goes with keys, and deeper stuff such as the bootloader, which should also work for all versions etc...
