the most recent cod series cod4 and up does give a good bit of info about the type of tech and weapons available in the army today,and it does help u to get out of sticky situation,if ure a pretty good player at it.eg.knowing the battlefield before hand(terrain),knwing the enemy position ect....,so in a sence it may not prepare u for combat in real life but u could use some aspects of the game in real life.......

Except most American youth don't watch the news. Studies show that most youth prefer to read magazines or the internet over any other type of media. Our social climate is evolving and trending more towards the left. 50 or 20 years ago Obama would have never been voted president. It only happened now because the youth got out and voted. Fox News, CNN, and television news in general are watched by the older generations. Don't forget Fox News is owned by Rupert Murdoch who is an Australian that pushes his conservative agenda on the wealthy class of America. He is a business owner in America who doesn't want to pay American taxes. You have so much to learn. For instance, CNN is a mostly liberal news source and is would be predominantly against any wars that don't involve gay rights or scientology. Fox news is pretty much liberal and would be more likely to be the ones to push for a war.
