Oh? Care to explain what significant contribution to the scene you have provided?

It's not about contributions, it's about front page news of a developer using a publically and legally available SDK to write some code that happens to emulate a different system. While noteworthy, it isn't in any way "hacking" the PS Vita, nor is it bringing anyone any closer to TRUE homebrew on the system. I'm not having a go a the developer here, but rather the people blowing it out of proportion.

Oh and the fact that the news says it's running "natively", which is frankly wrong. It's running on the C# VM that the Playstation Suite uses. It's no different to someone coding an emulator using XNA for the Xbox 360 - possible, probably has been done, but not that significant.

People want Homebrew, people enjoy Homebrew, if it cant be accomplished, LEGALLY using the official SDK, then that's all the better, so instead of sounding like an ungrateful twat, try being appreciative of what has been accomplished, it might be nothing to you, it it is something to a lot of people who missed out on HBL.

Using Legal SDK and official like @GregoryRasputin said, it's a very good step towards this kind of *issues*, Im pro homebrew and if the app that was posted can run even in 9fps i will give them my kudos anyway because they put some effort in doing something instead of *****ing like you @Antaeus .

i will make a video in a few hours when i get home for everyone i have also got this to work but its not very good.
fist off the games run so slow that they are not really worth playing. this probably wont change because it uses the pssuite witch basically acts like an emulator so what we have is an emulator running on an emulator and thats just a terrible way to do things.
second for those saying that its a nice legal way of doing things, tis is incorrect. in the terms of use of the pssuite it states that u can not create software to run pirated games or any variations so basically its saying no emulators so this is still not allowed.
and last, the pssuite may be available to everyone for now but this is only limited while its in beta and after beta there will not be access unless u pay the almost 100$ fee and all apps created and uploaded must be distributed through the psn store and sony gets to choose the price. they also stated that none of the apps created will be free.

But the HBL stuff runs on an Emulator, so we have some Emulators running on an Emulator and from what ive seen they work quite well.

But creating an Emulator will never be deemed illegal, its running downloaded roms which is illegal, but creating and running an Emulator itself is not illegal, plus there are many legal roms.

Also thanks for offering to make a video, i still don't own a Vita, cant decide if its worth it.
