Hello, good day to everybody!

My name is Juan Pablo, and it is my first post in the web.

I am from Argentina and as you could imagine (or maybe not) here is almost impossible to buy new official games, due to delayed launching and what is worse very high prices and now restrictions to import products!...

In conclusion, Iam pretty interested in hacking my PS3 with firmware 3.60.

The problem is that my PS3 is the model with nand memories (4 usb and sd slots) = model: CECHE01 mg.
Here in Argentina some technician told me that there is not possible to downgrade my console....

Could someone recomend me what should I do?
I know buy a new console maybe! problem is that obviously I have a limited budget for this issue!

Yeah if it's series 3000 you are doomed, you cannot downgrade. Since the ps3 comes with 3.66 OFW.
But in your case is CHECHE01 so maybe there it's a chance. With E3 flasher or progskeet with some soldering skills.

Yes you can downgrade it.. its an old model so it definitely was on 3.55 once

Here in Buenos Aires, all specialized stores told me that downgrade my console is dangerous since it has two memories..¿??

But if you say that it is posible, which would be the recommended method to do it without risk?

Progskeet would be the recommended hardware flasher to downgrade your nand chip model CECHE.

Yo soy de Argentina, y trabajo con consolas hace bastante, no conozco ningun técnico que tenga un Flasher, ni Progskeet ni E3 Flasher, pero, por lo pronto, yo no le daría mi consola a nadie que usara la versión "Con soldadura", onda, si no tienen el clip para hacerlo limpio, no lo haría.

Im from Argentina too, nope some users have E3 flasher but..it's kinda dangerous.

Progkskeet it's the way.
Hence here the downgrade *Services* are legal, they use infectus and others.

It is clear than argentina is far away from the usa. in terms of legislagion and technoligies for this kind of IT procesess .
Here untill some years ago was difficult to buy a PS3, so you can imagine how poor is the situation regarding downgrades/jailbroken, etc...
It is true than our market is much smaller than yours, however i think that there are still a huge oportunity for thus who know about electronic/it to do good business...
