Let's just say that you are not the only one that feels forced into this (buying a True Blue dongle)!

For some people, especially in a forum as anti-True Blue as PS3Hax, it has become a "necessary evil", so to speak, but then again, I don't give a damn as to what you do (especially when I share a neutral stance on the matter) - as long as you're fine with what you are doing, then that's fine and dandy by me!

No-one said it was simple, and I think even the die-hard haters give grudging praise to the actual people who did it, but the way they sell it and cripple it's use is what they hate.

One good thing has definately come of it for me though, and that is playing games on my PC rigs again. I had forgotten just how much better in all aspects my PC is compared to a console

Not forgetting that most of the work has been done freely by other devs who released their info for free. TB have done the last important part, but then wanted to profit from it, and just look at their response to the cloners: they have forced all tb owners to install suicide code on their consoles! Sure it's not supposed to work on official clones, but now TB have got you by the balls. What if jbking continue patching their dongle? Chanced are tb will release a new dongle and you will ahve to buy it to continue using their eboots.

Basically TB are scum!

@playerkp420 congratulations. I wont be getting a dingle but can understand why you want one. There are people that have certain things and wont share or release, and that's fine. I don't expect anything and never have. I am content messing around with what i do have. What i do have a problem with however is that when people are trying to learn and asking questions people leave smart *ss comments or wont help because we dont know as much as them. God forbid we try to learn or pick something new up. This is not directed at my buddy, just to clarify

There is no right time that person is required/should to wait for Tb to be cracked or new open source methods found... So why do we act like there is as a scene... Its been a long wait.. I still haven't bought a TB and probably won't either, but i respect your doing what best for you.

Nor should we say what and how we should spend our money on things.. Governments already do that to much in the world!! $60 isn't alot when considering it could be protecting and extending the life of the discS. Once it is cracked why would they need continued support.. It would be cracked and methods would be figured out.. They should be paying the 60 for what it can do now, not what it can do in the future.

No need to use your child as an excuse to buy the dildo. Blu-ray discs don't scratch very easily, and even if they manage to get scratched, it's hard as hell to scratch them so badly that they are unreadable. If your child manages to do this then maybe, and this is just my opinion, your child shouldn't be handling the discs (or any other electronics you own).

Worried about losing money due to scratched games, but you are not worried about losing money by purchasing a doomed piece of hardware. Smart.

I hate to tell you, but blu ray discs are not indescructable. Just ask the 2 copies of MW or the many GTA discs I have purchased. $60 is the price of one game. If I save one game from being destroyed, it has payed for itself.

Obviously you don't have kids. My 12 year old has gone through 3 copies of black ops. My 15 year old has gone through 2 copies of MW2 and 2 copies of NHL11.

And who are you to say what I let my kids play with.

I don't agree with the blue f@g group. But I don't know how to crack these new eboots, and they do. And I don't think anyone is going to any time soon. So $60 is a small price to pay.
