No, you're ps3 came with 3.72. That simply means you can't downgrade it to 3.55.

(well, technically you could downgrade it. But if you put a firmware lower than the factory firmware on it, your ps3 won't boot and you have a brick. So if you downgrade to anything lower than 3.72, you'r ps3 is dead)

No hardware flasher can solve that.

If you really want to have cfw right now. sell your ps3 and start looking for old bundles or buy a second hand (downgradable) ps3.
Or update to 4.11 and enjoy the latest games + psn.

How do you expect our devs to "plan" when they'll "find" a usable exploit for downgrading. Sorry for the harshness, but think before you ask these questions.

A much better question. You can use hardware flashers like e3 and progskeet. Google is as always your friend, but this topic should serve you well:
http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=29529
or any of the other stickies in the { PS3 | Downgrading and Flashing } section

I also recommend yo take a look at ps3devwiki.com
Look for Downgrading, Hardware Flashers, and anything else you come across that you don't understand. When you feel full to the brim with knowledge and likely stuck with a few unanswered questions, ask again and we'll get you rolling :)

No use in that, DUH. Just like there is no point in asking the same questions over and over again...
