After playing BF:BC2 about an hour, console beeps three times, turns off, and red light keeps blinking. If I turn it on, i can play again. The fan operates only on basic level when playing, not kicking in faster. I tried fan test, it worked, sounds like a jet engine, so the fan is good.

Any suggestions?

I am pretty Sure you have the RLOD
May want to do some research on that.

I would change thermal paste on both cpu and gpu and get @KillerBug s fan controller it is called ezchill u can get it here. www.fixmypcdoctor.com

Thanks for the help, changed thermal paste on CPU and GPU, but the problem is still the same. The fan stays at level 1 or 2 but doesn't go faster. I'll contact @KillerBug , hope he'll help.
