Hi guys, I've read a lot of topics about that with an e3 thing it's possible to downgrade 4.11. But in the early days of hacking the PS3 it was also duable with an TI-84 calculator with the help of the program that Brandon wrote.

I did, back then, a succesfull hack and my ps3 was jailbroken, but my lovely brother found a system update and patched it and after that there was an downgrade hack for the HTC desire wich worked, but (as you can guess) my brother did an firmware update again(yea LAN cable was unplugged but he wanted to play online......)

So now after few months and a stable firmware release (4.11) I wanted to check if it is still possible to downgrade/jailbreak with the TI-84 i.c.w. fw 4.11?

Now I just came across this post, from alienkid:

No it's not possible mate , you need a flasher so to can dump your NAND and stuff

with what alienkid is saying is right but your missunderstanding what he is saying


ok u need a harware flasher to downgrade eg progskeet or e3 Flasher or teensy .

but the part he is on about TI-84 is instead of using a e3 READER not e3 flasher which u need after using the e3 Flasher / progskeet


so u need a hardflasher eg e3 flasher or progskeet or teensy 2++


but also u need is a e3 Reader or TI-84 , golden avr , maxuim avr ,iphone ,ipod, psp on cfw, etc and may other stuff u can use. u need one of them so u can geting to service mode to finsh the downgrading with what u done with the flasher .

I use my psp for fsm. It works great. I use PsJig on my psp1000 on 5.50 gen d.
