I dl the game (EUR version) tried everything and always black screen.
So yesterday i checked on some forums and found this

They're saying that the True Blue Eboot only works with US version,i'm dl the game again ,later i'll post if it really works or not.

The Clandestine USA release is what you want. I applied the patch to this and played MGS3 for half an hour last night. I can PM you some mediafire links if you want them.
