I think it's funny that some of these TB supporters can only say that we are too cheap.... I mean really? It makes perfect sense to drop $50 on a TB if all you want is to play pirated games. One game that you pirate and you already made back your money, but then I'm not looking at this from a financial perspective. My issue is a matter of principal; a concept which I imagine is lost on some of you.

Me thinks, actually the cheap ones are you TB supporters. If you weren't "cheap" you would simply have your console updated to 4.11 and actually buy your games. Why do you need TB if you are not cheap? I won't lump in everybody that has TB in the same group, but I'm 100% sure nobody that has bought a TB has any grounds to call others cheap.

And with the above fragment your whole argument falls in a ditch of crap.
But to clarify, they dont have to close source the dongle, the eboots and fixes should work without it. And since they allow piracy (oh, dont even deny it), you cannot call them a company by a long shot. You are basically saying its ok for someone to steal TVs from a shop and sell it as if its their own. Or maybe you already are doing it and trying to justify your life of crime.

this scene was built on money-grabbing greed and fame whoring, I'm not upset about TB making money off piracy because that's the norm in the PS3 hacking scene.

If there were an alternative though, I'd probably support it instead.
