a demonhades member asked me to upload the original rflash and the patched reflash to see them he thinks it might help,i will post the link of them here too

http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?bhs8lrk2208rj51

http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?40nodazwiwurehu

if someone finds any useful info about this . . .

as for the channel on efnet i would not be able to say to them anything different than what i posted in this thread at page 4 . . .

so if i install irc ,configure it ,go to that channel etc the only thing i will do is copy and paste a link to this page . . .

i had a similar problem with you when i downgraded my slim, i used jaicrab's self and i ended up softbricking it. you need to check the dump inside your console with preloader.

edit: or you could go back to jfw, but it's better if you give a shot at 3.55
HI zecoxao , am i thinking correctly ? you downgraded from JFW by this new metod? Or just jaicrab's self?

Like i said, your best option would be to either talk to the guys or join EFNET on irc, channel #ps3downgrade , although i'm not sure if it's possible they will help, but they'll certainly give their best to do so

DO NOT FLASH ANYTHING UNTIL YOU'RE TOLD TO DO SO!!!

a member on demohades told me to reflash with the rflash_new.bin renamed

because he is saying when the xmb was working if it was still displaying 3.56 Ma it means it has not downgraded so i should have not reflashed with rogero i think here is the a quote of that post

They switched the offsets inside the NAND/NOR, well thats quite stupid, so no one knows the structure of the NAND/NOR execept DH. So no one's tools expect 'their' tools can patch a NAND/NOR dump for downgrade. Why would someone do that?

it seems tno one can really help on demonhades at the moment

i was wondering if to restore 3.56 ma in a working state i could do one of the following:

1) usb:\Lv2diag.self <----dh self
usb:\PS3UPDAT.PUP <---- 3.56 ma same as the one that was installed prior brick (rogero no check v3.1)

usb:\Lv2diag.self <----dh self
usb:\PS3UPDAT.PUP <----rogero no check v3.1 (when this was done it bricked )

2) if 1) will not work how about doing this in advance.cfg :

########################################################
#Restore "rflash" Fichero origen "/dev_usb000/rflash.bin" <------3.56 ma Backuprflash.bin size:262,144Kb
# 0 = Disabled
# 1 = Delete and restore all sectors.
# 2 = Check sectors and only delete/write the differents sectors.(SLOW)
;1

########################################################
#Restore "/dev_flash" from "/dev_usb000/flash1.bin" <------3.56 ma Backupflash1.bin size:204,544Kb
# 0 = Disabled
# 1 = Enabled
;1

########################################################
#Restore "/dev_flash2" from "/dev_usb000/flash2.bin" <------3.56 ma Backupflash2.bin size:16.384Kb
# 0 = Disabled
# 1 = Enabled
;1

########################################################
#Restore "/dev_flash3" from "/dev_usb000/flash3.bin" <------3.56 ma Backupflash3.bin size:512kb
# 0 = Disabled
# 1 = Enabled
;1

all other options set to 0

that is exactly what i also suspect ,so what about doing it as 1) and 2) as second option with their tools ?can everyone here give me his opinion regarding this . . . this way i should be able to go back to original state instead of the actual brick

i repeated the DH tutorial steps 1 by 1,results:
bricked again
then i redebricked it again with the above method

i think Demonhades did again!! their downgrader doesn't work, waste of time

Done it !!! i am on 3.55

A spanish member on demonhades helped me a lot ,he edited some files for my ps3 and uploaded them for me . . . after my ps3 bricked 2 or 3 (can't remember )times more ,i changed a file . . . then during a flash gave an error and hanged bliking green light forever ,i extracted the usb drive, powerd off the console, then powered on . . and the title ROGERO came Up!! although the flashing log gave and error (do you believe this??) system info spoofed to 3.70 . . . then i installed 3.55 ofw from recovery . . . . and then 3.55 cobra (i have the cobra key)

this guy on demonhades was really Great, never would have made it without him ,google translator was helpful also ,as he always wrote to me in spanish

still haven't tested the cobra key and other features to know if everything is 101% working but i think it is
