Face the facts people, without TB in here there would be....

#1 Less traffic which is a bad thing in any case good or bad.

#2 No means of having all these 'constructive' discussions ( ) as you need at least 2 sides of a subject to have a discussion about it.

People who own TB know this is for the majority an anti TB place but they still come here and ask things. Personally I would take that as a compliment as it shows they still trust and value the advice here even though they get flamed and insulted (either that or they are a masochist HeeHee)

The OP was given opinions by pro TB and Anti TB members (genuine and polite opinions btw), then one of your 'We' decided to have the most ridiculous rant I have seen for ages (comical though lol), Oh and please notice that he even went back to edit it so that the name for a female dog was visible

I am against TB as a company, but sorry, in all honesty, the haters Far outweigh the lovers in here and as a rule the haters are the ones who are more insulting and flaming.

Oh, the majority here will say no when people ask about getting a tb or not. In more words than that.

However, whenever I see a tb user asking for help, I have never seen them get put on the grill. So generally speaking, we do not hate the end user, excluding those willing to become martyrs for the company of course.

And isnt TB the "best way" to play backups and such atm? I'm on no side at all as i've not even downgraded my PS3 for ANY CFW at all yet.

But people want to be able to do something, and they are willing to pay for it.. because people don't care what is immoral or not.. they just want to use.

I understand why people hate on TB and i understand why people pay for TB.
Maybe if i had the cash and really wanted to play some games that just can't be played on regular CFW i would also buy TB.. i don't know.
I just know that this was the first site i came to when googling around for any exploits and modding of the PS3 This site is really good for what it is! I werent here before any of the dongles so i don't know what it was back then.

But until there is a free option to do the same as TB does then you will have these threads on here.. until you make a rule against it or something.

Want a rule? Infractions for obviously talking about something in the wrong section. pretty much TB should be kept to member news, main news, scene drama and the TB section.

Also, i swear someone said on the tb site, it links to here. Why would they do that other than knowing we're like the last competent site? I have a hard time not helping people fix games but i think i'm getting better at it. I posted somewhere else wondering if i should help them cause i like pointing out that a non TB user actually helps more than someone who owns it. Most people seemed to say i shouldn't.

I remember back in the day (like it was so long ago :P) java exploits. I don't really remember if people got backups to play that way, but they got some games and stuff going. then, when dongles came out, it was like the only way for you to get into service mode, install homebrew and play backups. Now, well, it's unnecessary but forced upon people by a company that is unethical and creators that are unmoral.

I miss the days when the hot topic was piracy...does anyone with TB actually buy the games and dump them themselves? I know that probably not many people do in general on kmeaw and rebug, but i know some do. I love backups when load time is cut in a quarter; it blew my mind how fast Tony Hawk's Project 8 loaded, that was a chore every time you booted it up, changed characters, etc. I don't think they knew how to utilize the blu-ray disc by just repeating the information on different spots, having optional installs, etc.

I think kmeaw/rebug is the best way to play backups, because if you want to play a move game on a slim that is backed up on an external drive, it's pretty much impossible because all the slots are taken. Then again, i don't think it's too expensive to buy a usb slot hub.

Dont know about memor32, but most likely memor32 was a required and mandatory piece of hardware that was required for an exploit to run. Note that no drm was in the device

TB is only a required mandatory piece of hardware because, and ONLY because TB has purposely added drm to the device.
Remove the drm and you could just run the cfw on it's own and never have to plug in a dongle. But the drm they have added means you have to.

Hence the dongle should not really be mandatory and is 100% a money making market, and you are forced to buy the dongle to use the cfw.

And before the dildo-lovers post that TB is a company and they need to make money; making backups s still illegal in many places. And isnt $ony a company, arent TB just stealing money from $ony and game publishers and developers by allowing piracy? After-all TB's only process is to pirate games, it doesnt do anything else!
