Try this ,flash original dump, once finish dont turn off ps3 switch to 000001.then take out sd card and transfer e3downgrade.bin into sd card.push reset button then push start button
lol this method to unbrick on 3.55+

if you brick on 3.55 then just solder point to keep ps3 stay on then reflash 3.55 dump . make sure you've verify the dump 1st

okay well I got a bit of news, today I tried to see if my clip was fitted on wrong and to prove this I tried to back up the ps3 (I know that its bricked but its worth a shot) any way it backed it up with the 8 led's and then when i connected it to the pc and checked it with the e3 nor checker it came up (check your hardware)... what do you reckon ... re-seat the clip again ? !

Reseat again and check 101000, just in case. @abs298 the pc is checking the dock with your HDD not the PS3.

Okay so I reseated the clip (shaving only very slightly the sides as there seemed to be a component in the way.

I've backed up the ps3 using the 101000 method checked it and it comes up with "The e3 dump is corrupt"

I mean I'm pretty sure that the clip is seated right as I've just put a 10p directly above the clip (kinda like a $0.20) any way

What do you reckon ?
