Yes, but people keeps buying the original TB. So, I don't think they are loosing here. This is an endless story. TB Update -> New clone -> TB Update -> New Clone -> etc. This wont be over until somebody releases a way of decrypting new eboots. In the meanwhile, somebody can try to crack the TB but I think it won't "really" help the scene to go forward. It will only allow some people to play new games using TB eboots until the TB team changes something in the new eboots and everything stops working again.

This is clearly not the way forward. It doesn't matter if you crack the dongle, they will keep updating it. It's sad but it's true. It would be much more useful for everybody a new CFW. But unfortunately that doesn't exist yet.

i bought a TB (the clear and obvious frontrunners) and have been more than pleased with their work. completely worth the $59 and the security that goes with it. i never stress when a new clone comes around since it seems TB pounces on them almost immediately. the only thing that pisses me off is the infrequent patches - and that i can attribute to the clones. attack if you will, but i'm probably right. i'm not advocating TB's practices, but they've given me the ability to play new games w/o updating to 4.11. period. and for that i'm satisfied. we're probably never getting a new CFW before PS4 comes out, so instead of all the complaining and hatred towards TB, people should just buy one. its cheaper than the price of a new PS3 and you never have to worry about your HD getting wiped (or whatever) mine's paid itself off easily 20-fold.
