Help with slim downgrading 4.10
Hey guys,
so I have a CHECH-2001B on OFW 4.10. I've been reading around and I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I'm looking downgrade it (duh!) but not order a chip or anything to do it, I was hoping to be able to just downgrade it and run CFW using a USB thumbstick or something along those lines. Can I, can I not? I've searched the forums and not found anything to answer my question, so if there is one just call me something insulting and link it, Thanks in advanced for at least bothering to look at this. |

you can not.
you must get additional hardware and this all depends on if your ps3 is even a downgradeable model. google e3 flasher |

The Cech-2001X is fully downgradeable with the e3 flasher.

I would have to say not to get an e3, I am not really a big supporter of the e3. I have fixed more ps3s that got messed up because of the e3. I know people are going to say clip wasn't on right. But riddle me this why is that 80% of them had a good dump and after flashing the downgrade file. Brick. Then I fix it and downgrade it for them and ask do you want me to install the e3 again and I get told to keep it. So now I have a lot of them in work area. I would just rather solder and use a progskeet and know it will give me a good read and write everytime. Just my two cents.

you are right, i don't want to be a party crasher but last E3 (limited) are bad. I mean the chances of **** up the whole PS3 and do perma it's 90% possible.

I just hate to have people send me their ps3s and have " their dumps" from the e3 and I have to tell that just by looking at their dumps thy send with them that their ps3s are now better for parts because they are bricks for good. Just get someone to install a progskeet or install one on your own. Don't waste the money on e3. Thanks
