Im saying fake as from ps3 experience all developer related software and documents are stamped with "SCE confidential" and as there is no ps3/ps2 hardware inside this thing the games would require a software emulators which would cost money and take time to make
for the sake of backwards compatibility i cant see sony doing that

The supposed specs in fact does seem to have PS3 elements, I see no reason why Sony would not include PS3 game compatibility (unless they want to be the usual a$$hole). As for the PS2 compatibility with that much power to emulate the EE+GS/other hardware a complete software based emulator for PS2/1 games is completely possible, of course compatibility and efficiency is still a question, but then again nothing yet is certain about this rumor, Although that CellBE X looks interesting lol.

Because a PS4 would utter SINK sony right now, and microsoft have too much vested in Kinect.

A new playstation is around 2-3 years away.

Could be. The first time the ps3 was show at e3 it was more than a year away from being released. It also had more features than what we have now, hardware and software features.

These are wholly unrealistic specs. You gotta look at a high-ish spec pc of today and think that that's where they're aiming.

Consoles don't contain groundbreaking technology. Yes, the cell was incredibly powerful, but sony don't make graphics chips. or ram. Does the latest graphics card have a 10gb ram chip? no.

Honestly. Stop grasping at straws. Vita is haemorraging money, and sony are already in a tight enough spot. You are not going to see a PS4 with military specs. You're going to see a modest effort, and it'll probably not blow you away. And it ain't coming soon. Got it?
