Hello,
I'm Kevin, I just got my first ps3. I got it from a friend for $60 because the BD is inop. I have wanted 1 since I found about the dongle downgrade, just could never find the extra cash. It had been sitting is his closet for a while so I was hoping he had not upgraded it in awhile. I got it home, plugged it in, turned it on and what do you know 3.70. The more I read the more disappointed I was. CECHE, NAND. Guess I am here waiting for a exploit or buy progskeet bundle w/ Infectus.

Welcome, and if u put ur mind too it and have the right hardware etc. that you need you can get it downgraded. Good Luck and hope u get it downgraded soon so u can enjoy ur machine. Also if u look u can find a hardware flasher used if u want to save some money ad can find a trustworthy seller or it may even be cheaper to pay someone to downgrade it for once you get that done we can get you all set up so you can enjoy CFW
