Needs to be on, or power nands externally, or through progskeet.

I always turn ps3 on for dumping nands, but i solder instead of using the nandclip.

Can't tell if its a good dump from just one, you need to dump both then run through flow rebuuilder. I'm sure its bad though, it should be 132 MB not 128 MB. What are you using for settings in winskeet?

Yes I have downgraded a few, also bricked a few that were ylod repairs, so no loss.

I solder the connections for the nands because i bricked one ps3 with a bad clip connection. I use header pins soldered to the progskeet, like this:

i just hit the auto button.

and it sets it at
page per blocks:64
block count:1024
with big block checked.

and why would it be 132 256/2 = 128

Make sure you have raw checked too. I know 132 MB doesn't make sense, but when it gets interleaved with flow rebuilder, you get a single 256 MB file. Check this page 1/3 of the way down....says you should get 132 MB
http://www.ps3devwiki.com/wiki/Hardw..._low.2Fhigh.3F

Actually most of what you need should be there on a few pages.

If using the newest winskeet just select the dual nand preset and leave the cycle period at default (125ns) and read delay at 50 (also default).
I don't remember how long it takes to dump, but i can check if it helps.
