yeah that's what i thought as well, So were good on the nor chip location, the Nor tristate location, now just the resistor location. comparing the dual boot thread pics I linked on page 7 it looks good too. Let me know

Really appreciate it , I just needed some reassurance on the locations for the E3 flashing & dual-booting process. I post back again when I have it ready to go , just waiting on the E3 flasher to come in, probably gonna need some help with the verifying dump,downgrading, dual-boot process. mean while I read up on the tuts for on this site, p.s by the way playerkp you have a very good one on this site.

I'd figured to bump this thread in continuing on my help with the E3 Flasher.
I received the E3 flasher Limited, I think i'm pretty set with installing the clip and proceeding. But I would like to install the E3 Linker instead, but I'm not certain on the test points that have to be soldered to the E3 Linker board. Check on PS3 wiki, hardware flashing, here is a link to check out my test points for my board DIA-001

I would like to know do I have to solder point " BVCC" to the e3 linker because i don't know of the location. also ground location where would that point be on the ps3 motherboard too?

My understanding for the E3 Linker the points solder are
A0 to A22
D0 - D15
NWE

CE to NOR
(SBCE from South Bridge) ( Im confused on this part but I think I'v got it correct me if i'm wrong) I would solder the CE testpoint location of the ps3 motherboard to CE of the E3 linker right? also I want to do the dual boot feature so I also would solder that left point on the resistor that I upload on the pic earlier in the post to the SBCE of the E3 Linker correct?

Reset

SBE ( Which is The Nor-tristate on the motherboard that would get soldered to SBE on the E3 Linker correct?

BVCC ( have no clue to where that testpoint is on the board) ( also on ps3wiki hardware flashing I think if I'm reading the Nor Chip Pin BVCC is Pin #53 on the Nor chip correct?

NOE
NWAIT

GND ( Looking at the testpoints on wiki I can't find one)

well can not help you since i dont have e3 linker yet. but im wondering this can be used on nand chip. some say yes but euss said this only for nor chip
