you can only do this on 3.55 or below if you are on 3.56 above you can look into downgrading your console with hardware flashers but it will cost you


You can:

Open FTP: Open ftp is where you can log into your hard drive via wireless and change some files like cod4,cod5,mw2 and loads of other games to mod

Multiman, Gaia Manager: you can get any ps3 disc and put in your ps3 go in Gaia manager or multiman and put the game on your hardrive you can also download games but thats piracy

Other OS: on the 3.21 firmware update sony removed other os due to security reasons some hard working devs was able to put other os++ on the 3.55 cfw ps3's (i think 3.41 can have it)

change your boot logo

Change the start up sound

Play different movie formats
