I am a tad sleepy, lol.
Anywho, I am expecting little from this game amd will probably not play it. Not my style and it seems to be going down a one way street to the city dump in terms of everything story/gameplay.

Some relevant points about your reply: (Yes, I read it all )

The MGS4 opening explains why Solid Snake was older than he should be (something about a cell degeneration caused by the cloning process used to create him).

The NES games are crap: The first one is a poorly made port of the Original MSX2 "Metal Gear", and Kojima was unaware of "Snake's Revenge" (the second nes game) development at the time. The "official" Kojima sequel to Metal Gear is "Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake" released only for the MSX2.

Kojima team and kojima, seems that did not want to let down the fan base.
So they ****ed up the spin-off handing to platinum games.
No SNAKE no MGS.
If the concept of E3 2010 will be a reality today i totally buy it, but he is only producing this new game.

I repeat the same happened with the SH series, if you count from the SH5 and SH6 (downpour) you see how ****ty the product was.
Akira Yamaoka was involved in SH5 and in SH6 he gone rogue with the excuse of the new upcoming movie of silent hill.

Fun fact:We know Kojima and Nintendo's own Miyamoto are good friends, which would explain The Twin Snakes as well as Snake's inclusion in Super Smash Bros, bud did tou know the original MGS was supposed to be an N64 exclusive. Of course the fact that it needed two discs is an indicator that the game takes up alot of data, and frankly N64 cartridges don't hold much, plus all the cutscenes and codec calls would be severely downsized in order to fit at least 10 or so odd cartridges. At the time cartridges and cheap were not analogous words, so Konami instead opted for the PSX, with discs being a better alternative.

What I meant with the "little explanation" part was that in those 5 years they don't explain WHEN it started happening. We know why, courtesy of Naomi, but we don't know when, like for example 2 years after Big Shell Snake wakes up, takes a look in the mirror and finds his head completely compromised by gray hairs

Artistic license , i think. Personally, I'm more curious about an arm that can possess the consciousness of a person...

Not too long ago I read an article about some a person who received a transplant organ from someone recently deceased and through that organ somehow managed to "remember" the deceased's mother, so I guess it isn't too far fetched as it sounds. I did double check to make sure I wasn't on The Onion btw
