(Kakarot's words have a *religion* effect on many users).
He is indeed blacklisted.
But for one that appears ten more will duplicate the same effect this guy is doing.
It's a matter of time until the video he posted get's duplicated and uploaded again with another music or someone talking about the chances of being not fake.

I'm not sure what your hopes are, but checking and comparing to some others, these two seem to be FAR more elaborated, in terms of work and of explaining what runs behind the scenes to make the stuff work. They won't reveal everything but they do throw a few things that makes you understand the thing works and is Longterm stuff.

I aim for that for now, Short-term solution with these things almost always equals Long-term pain-in-the-ass.

We don't saw any short-term solution in more than a year in terms of softmod.
We have the E3 flasher, (that sometimes generates more bricks than downgrades), more complicated devices to use in order to use homebrew and a quick solution that costs money called TB.

I agree long-term it's a pain in the ass, but if you know how to wait. You can wait a little longer.
We have the E3 2012, the next gen consoles to be announced.
It's a **** i won't deny that, but in terms of progress (and im not talking about warez) the scene is alive and besided we have a whole database (ps3devwiki) about PS3 (that sometimes crashes xD) but it's everyday updated with new info.
