Cool Our team needs help (PS3 connect to VPN)

Hi guys
We are a small team of ps3 hackers trying to get the online into the ps3 without PSN or PC (unlike Xlink kai)

and we are trying to do this in one of 2 ways:

1- If we connect the PS3 with a VPN network we can play lan games with no need to PC and this is the same xlink idea but we need to do it without connecting the PS3 via PC connecting to VPN:
We need your help in this to find the network setting and drivers files in the ps3 to see if we could connect the ps3 to the VPN

2- The PRO team (PSP hackers team) has made an online server using a plugin connects directly to there server using the kd files when the wi fi turned on (see the Prometheus forum).

We are working to apply there idea in the PS3 too please give as some help

thank you for reading

Hmm I know of the PRO team but I don't know the legitimacy of this. The first option sounds easier as the second option would require some heavy work id imagine. So what exactly do you need?

Sounds doable.

Maybe get PS3 Lan to use the proxy settings that connects to an online proxy to the VPN or directly to VPN?

I dont think proxy will work
We need to find ps3 network setting save locations to modify it

In the second option we need to compare between PS3 and PSP wi fi - System

thanks for posting

we wish that we will do it
we only need a directly VPN connection from PS3 to VPN (like Xbox)
But ps3 hasn't a VPN connection setting

We are sure there is a way to do it to play via lan game

I am sorry to say this but it's useless. A VPN is just like a proxy but more secure. I know what I am talking about. To make "LAN" games work you need to be in the same network(that's what a VPN does)

Also LAN games are crap. There are only a few games you can play.

Hey, I have a program where you can see every adress the ps3 connects too... I also know how to change the connection adress to a specific one, in this case vpn. So when klicking the psn icon we can make the ps3 connect to another adres/vpn or server... Reply if you think I can help
