I also forgot to mention that:

- A good VPN costs money
- People from far country's will lag the **** out.
- Hard to code. You need to code the network connection and stuff from scratch(!!).

A VPN isn't just a server. You need to let the PS3 think you're in that network.

If it was like: Connect 39.34.24.23:39342
Then it would be very easy. But a VPN is much harder.

A proxy won't work because a proxy "downloads" the content for you and then send it to you. It's a middleman.

If programming a vpn connection gets to work, then you can play lan games but its not worth the time. Finding security leaks at 4,11 or enabling psn on 3.55 is much better.

Btw its not hard to set up x link kai. You can also use hamachi.

The program loggs everything the ps3 connects to and yes you can change what it schould connect to you can even make it download from your computer instead of psn
Im sitting with my galaxh s2 now and I am going to sleep now since its midnight in sweden but I will post the program for you and maybe even a video tomorrow, I promise, but I think you will handle the program easy I used the program for some research a few weeks ago but I left it aside as I had to study hard on my school, but now that it is only like 2 weeks left I have time for these kind of things again

I know I know... This was just off topic since my friend asked me if he could use hamachi instead of xlink...

Read my earlier post for answer to you
The program I use is wireless but I just rememberes that it is connectes to your ps3 with proxy but you will still be able to do what I just said the only thing we need to do is to actually find out what adress to change to our own for the ps3 to connect to but Im sure we will figure it out :D

Edit: sorry for miss spelling but I suck typing with a phone :S

A VPN isn't just a server. You need to let the PS3 think you're in that network.

When ps3 connects to VPN it will think that because when you start lan party in any lan game it will connect to that network .

We don't want to use proxy but we are trying to study programs and make VPN connect avilable in the PS3 like Xbox

I know it will just play lan games but its harder to get it into online server or turn on psn on the 3.55. and if we turned the psn on the 3.55 you know that sony wil not just hanging up it will try make band to us.
