[Download 355-NOTHEROS-RSOD.PUP] this file is not there and i check on ps3 wiki it was written there the best method is
Place this Lv2diag.self in the root of an empty USB flash dongle, and use any method to toggle Factory Service Mode (FSM) (We're partial to the second release we make today, but you can decide for yourself).

1. Copy the .self in this release to the root of a USB flash drive.
2. Rename the file to Lv2diag.self.
3. Place the flash drive in the right most USB port.
4. Toggle FSM.
5. Boot PS3
6. During FSM boot, the Lv2diag.self will execute.
what is FSM and if this doesnt work. should i give my ps3 in warranty i think only a month is left?

If he modded his console in any way, software or hardware, any warranty he had is void. Unless it is a warranty from a retailer that covers user damages, etc.

You can still try the warranty approach. It might work if you get a good rep. Just don't tell them anything about it being modded.

Not with Sony.
I have no problems with the warranty here in that case..some extra bucks fixed some big issues.
(In my Country) Not always works..but worths the shot.

Like @Cheesethief said, if the PS3 was modded software or hardware you have a slim chance with warranty. (it's true) but you can pay to someone to do the *Service* that you can't do.
