maybe we should make another thread for old game match requests cause everyone seems to be trying older games (which makes sense) and realizing no one plays them online anymore :P

Firmware update in 3...2...

I tried it out today, went back to KMEAW from cobracfw, installed the pkg, ran it, activated it, and when I rebooted, I could log into PMS (or whatever they call it now, see what I did there?) I tried re-downloading content from ages ago, and only one actually installed, a Red Dead Redemption addon or something. Got errors on everything else. Then I scrolled through and looked at all the stuff I can't play anyway because they're all 3.60+. Most of my games have 3.60+ updates, so i didn't really try it out. I feel kind of dirty going on there anyway, so I will say it worked for me right off the bat, but I had some downloading issues in the PS Store. Now I think I'll go back to how my PS3 was before, because I frankly had no interest in online gaming before this, and there's nothing I can buy in the store, so. Very cool that the rebug guys worked it out though

Everything works fine for me, except for downloading unlocks for demos. Castle Crashers, etc. won't download, giving me the 80029780 error that others have mentioned. Under account management, the system shows up as activated for games, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Netflix downloads but won't start, giving a 80010017 error.

well, this sucks, it seems downloading DLC is impossible to download (already tried the readd PSN account method and didn't get past activating the account, nothing can be downloaded and gives error 80029519)

i think stuff that requires like an activation to download, like dlc, games and stuff probably isn't going to work unless you already had it.
maybe test out really old stuff that "should" work first like, idk, map packs for the original resistance or something.

I thought that this is maybe the last chance to get some songs for guitar hero.
So I installed Rebug 3.55.2 and the 0.7 update...
Short time later I was on psn. I bought a song but the download didn`t start... only the hint for activating appears. At the end I get the error code 80029780.
Now all my legally bought dlc, psn-games and guitar hero songs are deactivated...

What can I do now? Use React PSN?

Unfortunate, isn't it? If you go into Account Management and deactivate/reactivate your ps3 you might be able to use previous DLC. Hell, the problem could be that your ps3 ISN'T activated at all. I still can't reactivate my PS3 but I personally know people who keep deactivating/reactivating. Newer DLC/PSN games/whatever that you buy that has firmware restrictions probably won't work either way.

I wonder how much of a bump in sales the PSstore got since this method was released. I could not think of a single game I wanted to play online but could think of several PSN titles I wanted to check out.

Hello!
I use kmeaw 3.55 and installed and activated the new rebug 4.11 spoof. After the reboot my version info shows 4.11, but i got an error message when i log on to psn.
Any ideas?
Between my last logon to psn i switched my ps3 hardware. Is that the problem here?
