LOL, he is saying only rich people should be gamers. 60 bucks for a brand new game is expensive for middle-class and poor people.

Bluray movies brand new are only like 20 bucks and it cost way more to make most movies than it does video games. Video games aren't spending 200-300 million dollars to make a game like movie companies are.

i think movies are a little different cause they make their money in theaters and can base releases on discs by that. with video games, you don't exactly know how it's gonna sell or how many copies to make. plus, there's also the cost/benefit factor of buying a movie over a game.
no one would really buy a single movie for 60$, whereas a lot of people buy games for 60$. i could be wrong on that cause i don't remember formats much older than vhs and their prices. a movie takes a few hours at most to watch, video games can be played for days...

Am I the only one who gets bored of games fast? I can watch movies several times, but rarely will I want to play a game over and over again. Usually once I beat the game, I'm done with it.
