I could have sworn that Ocelot was making the whole "the arm took control of me" angle up. I thought that was revealed at the end of MGS4, that Ocelot was in control and doing everything of his own free will.... I think I need to replay MGS4.

^^ You may be right, I never finished MGS4 to see how the story ends. Probably some people will hate me for saying this, but MGS4 was one of the most boring games I've played this generation. I never understood all the enthusiasm about it.

I am pretty sure that Ocelot was bull****ting, I think you find out at the very end while doing some fistycuffs with him.

Perhaps it was nostalgia for me... I loved MGS and watched my older brother play it when I was little (I was like what, 7 or 8 at the time and could not play it past the boss fight with Grey Fox).

To be honest, slicing and dicing is also a travesty to the lineage of MGS... it could have been fun though. As far as Kojima vocabulary... after some of the plot twists in MGS nothing would surprise me.

I think you are right, though I seem to remember him saying it while Eve, Snake and him are together... kinda foggy on that, as memerable as the game is there were just too many weird twists to the story towards the end.

Now on to my personal view on this matter, Kojima you scum if you don't want anything to do with the series KILL IT, but don't ****ing spoil it. Like Mackdanny, I don't like Raiden; no actually that is not accurate. I frigging loathe that emo/whiny/wimp and was close to throwing my DS2 at the TV a few times everytime I saw Snake (a.k.a Pliskin) running about. I felt motivated to keep playing the game after I saw Snake cause I thought you would be able to play Snakes' side of the Tanker mission (I think you could do that in MGS2:Substance?).

Anyways, I would have loved to be able to delve deeper into the story of The Boss... that chick is just simply baddass. I still get goosebumps when I remember how she dismantled Big Boss' gun right out of his hand, and if not The Boss, then at least make a game with Ocelot, who aside from Solid Snake and The Boss has the most rich history... heck, you want me to chop crap up? Then at least have the decency to let me play as Gray Fox, but Raiden? shouldn't he be on a date with Vamp or something?
