I don't guess they invented the PS3, flash drive/dongle, or the concept of charging people for something that should be free..I think the creators of bottled water could be credited for that.

Being the first to patent something, or the first to have something officially witnessed does not count as inventing it/coming up with it/discovering it (take your pick which one to use lol)

This is somewhat controversial. History can be conveniently used in accordance with the interests of a country. For example: Here in Brazil, Alberto Santos Dumont (a Brazilian) and names like Voisin, Blériot, Farman and Delagrange are known as "aviation pioneers", while The Wright brothers are known only for flying a greater distance than others at that time (they are good at aerodynamics). Who is right? We could spend a month here discussing this according to our patriotic conveniences without going anywhere, because that was what we learned.
