A lot of Devs who could do it probably are anti-piracy so won't do it.
Just because the info is there doesn't mean its easy.

There are probably Devs playing new games on 3.55 but who knows?

The problem with this scene is the talent involved, with threats of lawsuits and an ungrateful scene, perhaps they just don't want to do it.

We do have Devs that do release decent stuff but could they or should they release something that has piracy as its primary purpose?

Its a dangerous position for a lot of Devs to be in.

Geohot, FoF and Graf were sued even though they never released anything strictly for piracy.

Drop the speech of *sony lawsuit* it's getting old, if they have the solution to this problem they can go to friend's or their worst enemy home or even a *cyber cafe* and upload all the data there. Not even INTERPOL can track what was uploaded, when was uploaded and at the same time have a live feed of WHO made the upload of the file. Devs are not the most wanted persons of certain bureau as far as i know.
The problem is in fact that no one is releasing anything because they want their name and stamp on it. But they CAN'T ergo they have moral/ethical issues. Piracy/homebrews, etc.
I read excuses everywhere.
When if you really want to help, you can go with a simple pendrive with all the data to a random computer and submit to some scene site what you found = DONE!.

So hard?..don't think so.

With the people BEHIND TB team, if i have the method/solution i will release as anon. I don't want trophies neither a purple heart for my discovery.
Like i said many times, here you are not messing with *sony lawsuit* you are messing with something bigger and more dirtier.

You saw any lawsuit recently? any important one?. If that so..name it. I did not see any.

Better to say anything than nothing about this even if its loose ends and rumors. I stand behind your attack on TB, it has done nothing for the scene, since its focus is Piracy. It has only satisfied the we-are-entitled-to-everything-and-we-want-it-now-generation.

I'm an avid browser on this site, since its been, in my opinion, the centerstage somewhat, I'm not really engaged in the discussion but I have donated a bit to various devs over the years hoping it would motivate them and the scene. The scene needs a breakthrough but it needs as much a united group that stands behind them and confronts money grabbing devs and make stand to show that its not OK. A large group of supporters for the hardworking devs is a carrot, its motivation. Sadly most of the people interested in PS3 Jailbreak is part of said entitled-to-everything-generation. But not everyone is like that though.

But on the topic, I doubt Dark Alex is behind it. I mean, he got principles. But you never know. I think Wololo commented on that rumour once and he said he didn't believe it. But what would I know, and what would he know. People change over the course of time.

deadly serious bud, i registered on your forum to see if i could find a way to contact a dev to give the TB too.

i bought two from modchipcentral 2 weeks ago and i only needed one so its sat here doing nothing.
