Replacing PS3 HDD with SSD
Alright lads,
Just wondering if anyone has though about/already done it about replacing the standard HDD with a SSD, same size and SATA i think so in theory would this work. Wouldn't mind quicker loading times, although probably not worth the money lol |

Works. But not worth it, you get 15% increase in speed

just loadingtime, and the effect will even be less then 15% because the SATA bus is capped, the partition encrypted and the overhead is like jonah and the whale in a mudfight.
