Hi everyone, good night.
I'm having trouble with my PS3 model CECH 2501B with 320gb HD.
I was doing the e3 process of dumping the NOR and the lights just gonne away, and now my ps3 didn't start.

I didn't know what to do to solve this problem, I think if someone who has the same model as mine, could did the NOR dump and send it to me, and i'll try to recover my PS3.

You will have to use the nor dump you made from your ps3. A dump from a different ps3 will not work.

Do you have the dump from it? Did you try to write to it? If you did make a dump go to hxd hex editor and see if it is a blank file or not. Another thing is that if someone would send you a dump off there ps3 you still have to have some information out of your ps3. If you are in the states I could take a look at it. But let me know the answers to the questions.

No i didn't the dump, because the ligths gone away in the middle of the process.
My ps3 torn's on, stay on green light, didn't enter on recovery menu, the usb didn't work.
Is there a way to install a .PUP from e3 flasher? Cause my e3flasher still working on the ps3, but no usb is working.

Basicly it ****s up because it is not clipped right and from this stage, you'll need Tristate/SBE and funmode.

Without USB you can only install firmwares from: flashdrives, cardreaders, harddrive, BD/DVD/CD discs, not from E3 flasher TF/microSD.

So in short, he:
- has no original dump (nothing to fallback to)
- he already flashed the console (there is no undo when handling flash)
- the current content of flash is from another console (so perconsole data mismatches)
- thus has no way to restore perconsole data and ever make it boot (only Sony themselves might, for high price)

Only one more ask, i found on ebay PCB's from 2501A , if i buy one of them, I can use the others pieces from the 2501b??
Can someone indicate another place to buy these kind of hardware online.

well some component or hardware of the ps3 can be change if you know it compatibility and some component cannot be changed

The pcb from a 2501A will be compatible with the peices from a 2501B, but you must be sure the replacement pcb can be downgraded to at least 3.55.
If you do not ensure this, then you will be unable to make your blueray drive compatible with the new PCB.
