So tired of these anti-piracy do gooders. I am sure a big corp like Sony can take care of itself without any of us small folks intervening in their defense.
I would be more than happy if I can remain on kmeaw 3.55 with showtime and the ability to run new 3.56+ original discs (not necessarily back ups)
But since that is not possible I will remain on kmeaw as is and my pc will get more action time. And oh yes, Sony and game devs will lose out cause they wont get any of my hard eearned - so there rant over :P

Beginning to think Sony knows how tb works already.
I think TB was able to obtain the root key allowing them to
decrypt eboot, edat files.
Sony is probably nervous about going after TB in fear of them releasing this information.
The fact that TB can decrypt 4.11 signed edat files shows that debug eboots
are not being used.

There is a huge difference between the PS3 scene and 360 scene.

Hardware is needed to glitch the 360, so understandably people will charge for hardware, i don't see 360 devs charging for the code/software to flash a drive and if all those glitch methods were possible using software, the devs would release that software for free.

On the PS3 scene, ZERO hardware is "needed" to play the latest games, the hardware which could be implemented into software is forced on us, you would never see that in the 360 scene.

Even in the Wii scene you are not forced to buy hardware to play the latest backups, it is an optional choice, but it can be done for easy for free.

So in all the scenes, the ONLY scene you are charged to play pirate games is the PS3 scene.

Good devs don't look for money, they do it for fun, they do it because they can, they do it because they enjoy it.

Lol, why don't they release the eboots theirselve then? Does it matter it is a unsigned edat or unsigned eboot? Both can get leeched with leechers.

Oh Wololo...Thank you for you VHBL-I really ditched my PSP to get a Vita to get the PSP Experience (I really enjoy that sh!t). Vita is now the sh!t with 38bit graphics and roms that were not enough for all the other consoles.


PS: I don't have the Vita but do own the PSP

sure but so is just about everyone else in the world. Without the endless list of devs putting in work on the system, my PS3 would be in trash can-- that alone disqualifies them from being labeled useless.

you are correct xbox sence you get software for free
but you are wrong when you say devs dont do it for money because everyone wants to make money

would somthing like jtg/rgh work on ps3?
would optical drive emulator work on ps3?

instead of hacking ps3 with code can it be done with hardware?
sony can secure codes but its harder to secure hardware hack
