Hi everyone i have a ps3 slim with fw 4.11 and i want to downgrade to cfw 3.55 i want to know if it is possible using only what are in the e3 nor flasher clip suit (really cheaper than the limited edition)... has the sata usb dock and the "sata dock to main board" logic board some reason to exist? Do i need them? In the clip suit "packet" there are the nor clip and the e3 linker (they call it this way..."

The e3 nor clip suit only comes with e3 linker and a ribbon clip. Both of which need to be connected to the e3 flasher.

The limited edition comes with everything you need except a micro SD card and a downgrade dongle.

Or you can buy the e3 flasher downgrader. That doesn't come with the esata station.

Ok i understand that they sell 3 things
1 e3 nor clip suit (for who has broken the ribbon or the e3 linker)
2 e3 nor flasher (it has the same thing that are in the clip suit and the main board) therare no usb sata dock
3 e3 nor flasher limited edition (it has also the sata dock and it's cable)
The problem is if i have my sata dock can i use it? I think not cause mine takes power directly from usb but this one in the e3 flasher limited edition has also a power cable i think that the energy coming from the board goes to the linker and the board and it's not enough also for the hd am i wrong?

Hey Playerkp420, don't mean to hi-jack this thread but, from my understanding if your going to use the e3 linker all you have to do is insert the e3 board to the hd bay then attach the e3linker to that & solder the test points of your ps3 motherboard to the e3 linker. I haven't gotten a chance yet to do this as I have it now, maybe this weekend I'll get to it or next week. Thanks

The e3 board is the flasher. So you need the e3 flasher or board to use the e3 linker. The e3 linker connects the the e3 flasher like the ribbon clip.

The nor clip suit only comes with the e3 linker and an extra ribbon clip. No flasher.
