I've been waiting for a patch to kmeaw for TB and cobra for some time but now I worry that maybe cracking TB is a bad idea. What if eboots stop coming and then new games isn't happening... What was the point? Love or hate TB the fact is its helped keep people on fw 3.55 and in turn helping keep the ps3 scene alive. Having to pay for it seems silly to some but it is worth it. It's not supporting piracy as much as it is giving people the option to play newer games. Already having cfw installed is the same thing as having a tb. If you install multiman for any reason that is. I now personally think That if people want a game bad enough they will buy it. That's how sequels get made. People make games, people buy games, people play games. TB doesn't suggest not buying games. They don't encourage piracy. They simply supply you with the ability to play new games. Download the games, rip them from gamefly, friends or actually buy them. I'm a collector so i like to have physical copies of everything. I have multiples of some games and one game I have for each region and platform. TB sucks for charging $60 but everyone that's bought one has stressed that it has already paid off for them. I suppose if they keel supplying eboots it is worth it. However a free solution would be nice, I dont know that the eboots would keep coming.


I've wanted both a cobra and a tb but i didnt buy one because when I was saving fo jb dongle back in the 3.41 days ps groove came out so I tried to find a usb programmer instead and then it was ported to rockbox and i already had iPods and Sansas. Then I didn't need a dongle anymore because Geohot cfw came out. So with Cobra getting cracked I win... With TB cracked we all loose.

I think it is amazing how these guys can really understand how the ps3 works and all the dongles. I applaud them for their know how. But I m honestly so sick of all these people that act so righteous like they wanna play so bs version of pong on their ps3. People are here to dl games plain and simple.

They cry about how tb is criminals or messing up the scene. please they gave the people what they wanted. Give me a break. 60 bucks for like close to 150 games now, get over it. They provided what know one else could or would.

Can t stand these tards that pretend they dnt download games. I mean come on people. And who the hell would want sony to patch anything. I mean how many crapy games did u spend 65 dollars for to beat in 12 hrs. And then what u get 20 bucks back at gamestop. oh great. then they sell it for 55 bucks used.

Dnt get me wrong. I wish there was a custom firmware too but oh well get over it. TB forever in my opinion. 60 bucks for TB or a gaming pc for 1000 bucks. I think everybody has a different opinion on the subject, my point is that removing Sony's DRMs to add their own instead is pure evil. I don't think many cracking devices had that type of security in the past (that, or I didn't care enough back then)

I don't really mind people who pirate, and I don't really mind those "piracy only" dongles. However I have problems with a dongle that was engineered in a way that it does not solve the DRM issue, but just shifts it.

My personal problem with Sony's PS3 and consoles in general is the fact that everything is DRMed. For the same reason I hate that I cannot legally copy my DVDs to my computer, and the fact that this is enforced with DRMs, I don't like the idea that I cannot play my games on the hardware I want, if I want to (this goes both way, I want to be able to play homebrews on the ps3 if I want to, and I want to be able to play PS3 games on my PC in the future if I want to).

DRMs prevent the customer to use the product they purchased. Those DRMs can come from Sony or True Blue, they are the same **** to me. So for me, True Blue is clearly not a solution to my problem with the PS3, they are just shifting the problem somewhere else.

This is my problem with True Blue, and this is the same reason I have an Android rather than an iPhone, etc... I've tried to make that clear many times, but it seems a majority of people simply don't understand what's fundamentally evil with DRMs.

i just dont care about warez on my ps3, any homebrew developer makes better games today as the big companies theyre very rare exeptions to it!

you can call even true blue a scene, a real scene, they are very skilled people no doubt about that but they just keep it together, the member stay out of public and nothing get leaked, so they are a working scene, but they are not the only scene out there and for some people if they see stuff like this when someone try to commercial warez, thats just against our truly believes, sooo yeah trueblue will be pwned soo and i allready hear you and youre fanbois cry about it
