Why don't we conclude this weekend's saga about Oct0xor's discoveries with:

1) Anyone with decent knowledge can decrypt ps3usercheat dongle
2) Anyone can "unself" cobra updater EBOOT.BIN
3) TB Stage 2 - are there stages 3, 4 and 5? Sixth one maybe? What's the deal here?

Just because TB lets someone play the newer games does not mean they are using illegal copies.

It still gives me homebrew, still gives me backup, and with TB debug CFW I could go on PSN and play my backups online. Honestly don't play online so I could care less. Yes I get that it allows me to play 3.56+ is the main feature but that doesn't mean it doesn't do the other stuff still.

I get your point on some level but I don't get why people care so much. For me 60 bucks is worth the money to play the latest games plain and simple. Whether I pirate them or pay for them, 60 bucks isn't a lot of money.

If playing the newest games and PSN is something important to people and they want to buy new games. Again the E3 flasher will do exactly that.

I also think people are really lying to themselves if they think TB is increasing piracy by leaps and bounds. The reality is most people are CFW did it for the same reason. And if people are such gun ho about not piracy why are there links to emulators which ultimately is piracy?

But TB's sole purpose is to let you play 3.56+ games, whether you pirate them or buy your games and use the eBoots.

Well to be brutally honest, when i first heard about PSJB running backups, i was like "meh ok that's interesting", but when i heard it could run homebrew i was like "f*ck yeah epic".

Of course i have used the backup feature, i don't think anyone hasn't, but i could happily do without it

People that dislike TB do not dislike it because of piracy, they dislike it because of the DRM.

Also Emulators are perfectly legal, they can be used to run legit roms or games you have backed up yourself
