I hope this one does not get fluked by a virtual/nonexisting Cease & Desist, like the previous devkit for scene purposes...

I hate ppl asking the scene for money -.-

And we are talking about 2000 €/$. It's not a super high price which you never can earn alone. As far as I know he is german like me. 2000€ is a nice price but nothing unreachable here. So go to work and get the money on your own.

Don t we have the same here for PS3 (i can t find the thread back where it was suppose to be done)?
I vote Euss for being the owner of collector model. Because even in worst case (Euss escape with the money to tropical island or Japan), it will still be better than what will happen to this ps vita devkit.

(From original source): "In the PlayStation3 scene, the progress went much easier since development kits and testkits are available to several developers. In the PS VITA scene there is no such kit available to any developer, yet."

What progress would that be, exactly? Like CEX->DEX for money progress? Or TB's progress?

Meaningful progress for the end user falls into one of three categories: OtherOS, Homebrew, and new games (lets leave the piracy aspect out for the sake of discussion), right? How much "progress" have we seen since Gitbrew's OtherOS++ a year ago?

And when I read blog posts like "Introducing "Donation vs. Release" System" it tends to rub me the wrong way. If you are producing things of merit, you shouldn't have to hold back releases until donations are reached, you should be getting donations (if at all) based on the quality of what you produce.

And there are other choice posts on his blog like the one titled "We do not care, guys..." - which ends with the line "If you want something to be build, do it yourself !" Yeah, let me break out my checkbook.

Anyone donating deserves everything he gets. AKA Fund the Vita scene to become like the PS3 scene. Hope you all learned our previous mistakes.
