Its ok, you are a TB owner, you aren't smart enough to understand anything, so we will leave it at that. Oh and i own two PS3's, i enjoy my CFW and the free games that Sony give me, i also enjoy playing PSN. |

So by definition that would make you the idiot and not me. Otherwise you would have responded with a legitimate point. But instead you replied with kindergarten level insults. "Nah nah your stupid because I'm better then you for (insert reason here.)." LOL. As for your previous threat about banning me, I simply don't care. Do you think banning me is really gonna harm me in anyway? Likewise do you really think it's gonna somehow prove your point? PS: I can easily create another account with a new email address. And in the remote chance that you IP ban me, I can simply use a VPN. So your threat doesn't phase me at all. PPS: good for your "free CFW." In 10 minutes I can have that on my machine as well. Or have you forgotten that TB doesn't permanently install itself onto your PS3? You can actually go back to a different firmware. I know it's shocking isn't it? Likewise who cares about PSN? PSN is horrible. So that's not really something to "boast" about. |

When the PS3 was opened up, DRM left, only for it to be closed again by a DRM device.

Stolen code and reDRM. Hrm... People are selling you a product with work they say is there own when they actually took freely available code, put a drm on it, found a way to get unsecured eboots (this is the only thing tb really did on there own) then they signed those eboots with their own key.
Adding to that, the dongle has suicide code, so if you try something other than what it was meant for, your dongle goes poof and stops working. Get a fake dongle? Well, there goes the ENTIRE contents of your hard drive. You are protecting a company that could not give two sh1ts about you. They would rather take your money and screw you if they could, but then you would not give them money so they release a good game and a ton of crappy ones to make it look like they are doing something. Deank knows his stuff, mM is a good backup loader, but he is being a hypocrite right now, I sincerely hope he just admits to us all that he sold mM to Cobra. A lot of people would respect him more if he did, but as it stands right now, he avoids the topic if at all possible and posts mMcm updates in the official mM thread here. I wish you luck in fiddling around with your firmwares. It must suck to know that it could have all been worked into one 3.55 that could have had it all, debug options, OtherOS, online, etc. etc.

As a hacker I kind of like DRM, because it gives me that special itch to crack (remove) it. However, if I don't succeed in hacking the DRM, or don't feel like spending too much time trying, it will not make me hate the product, on the contrary, I just feel lame for not succeeding. Later I might pick the project up again, feeling excited to try some new idea, sometimes years pass by like this...hehe
What I'm seeing here is something different, not constructive at all, just whining and anger. |

PS2 Scene doesn't need DRM hardware to run backups. Xbox1 Scene doesn't need DRM hardware to run backups. PSP Scene doesn't need DRM hardware to run backups. Wii Scene doesn't need DRM hardware to run backups. Xbox 360 Scene doesn't need DRM hardware to run backups. ALL the latest games plays using software, which is free and open source, which is what a scene should be, but: PS3 Scene needs DRM hardware to run backups. |

What up
@modrobert
!!! I like your last article! "Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering"
The way I see it, this infant scene needs time to grow into what all the other scenes have grown into over the years.

Meh, I have and will again donate (very shortly) to Dean whether he gets money from Cobra or not.
Under $150 in donations in 18 months ... A spiteful person would have just left the scene altogether. 2) Agreed, seen that a month or two ago 3) Would like to know myself. My main problem with the Oct0xor thing is they are keeping the dump to themselves. Whats the point in that? It's known what it is so why not share with the "scene" We actually found someone who wants to dump the JB2.. it may be useless but the FIRST thing that will happen is that dump being made public. |
