Then he went off on one

well allow me to disagree but with the info that @GraVoX959 released you can already create your homebrew dongle (jbsusb clone or whatever it is called), there is a thread here on hax, so he released some of what he promised to be working, sometimes you don't allways acomplish what you set to do, but even if he didn't do the whole thing what he did is good enough, so stop lashing on him and appreciate the bit of work that he did.

You are allowed to disagree, its a forum... why shouldn't you.

Again I'm not lashing, it was a legitimate question just as your post ^^

But you cant seriously expect someone who keeps promising things that don't come to fruition, not to have questions asked of them ?

You believe what you will & I'll believe what I will.. look at the facts though.. no one in this scene will donate to genuine devs who HAVE provided something, they only donate at the promise of something.
I'd hardly call having a donation link in your sig 'begging' for donations either.
Plenty of devs do it in most 'homebrew scenes' most get **** all as well.

Also how the hell can you criticize people, when you yourself have shown nothing for your promises.

You both make it sound like I've made multiple promises?
Feel free to go back and scour through my posts and prove me wrong but I can only remember promising to release a dump of the JB2..
Time, personal reasons and just interest in said project made it fall to the bottom of a rather large pile of things.
Actually I also did promise to release our info about the JB2 clone which I did.
All the info needed to dump that sucker was put up here in a thread. Someone contacted me and said they had ordered a JB2 and would dump it as soon as it was in their possession hence why I said
We actually found someone who wants to dump the JB2.. it may be useless but the FIRST thing that will happen is that dump being made public.
So again I'm sorry (for what the 10th time now) I didn't deliver when I said I would. It's in the hands of someone else now.

Simonbuck, you REALLY wanna troll me? You own one, go spend another $35 and dump it yourself.. that would make me look like a bigger scene donkey than Prea!

@GraVoX959 Drop it already, we get your point. You don't have to explain reasons, it's ok. **** happens. @Simonbuck don't do any reply that will add more wood to the fire.

Or i will be forced to start with the infracts.

I donate to worthy devs, i donated $60+ to KaKaRoTo's homebrew, i have made other donations.

People donate to worthy causes, KaKaRoTo got over $150 for his homebrew app, which was a one time app, where as deank's is continuous, so there is no way he only got $150.

I respect developers who work for the scene, i don't mind them getting donations, but i will not support them taking money from scrupulous DRM device developers.

I don't get along with certain devs, but i still respect them for getting on with things and not looking for money.

KaK got around $150.. I'd hardly call that a win when gitbrew got well over $300 in a few hours for a promise. (They delivered something.......)
Im pretty sure Snowy got more than that for his promise to work on the PSP emulation.
AdrianC got a ****load more for a promise.

You're saying you donated around a third of what KaK got and you claim that people donate to worthy causes.. how many people 5?

Hypothetically if Dean is in fact receiving money from Cobra/TB, then he is the smartest one here.. he's getting money back off "the scumbags" whilst still releasing the application to the general public.
If it is him, it's not like he could be a white knight and deliver to us the Cobra options in an "unprotected" mmCM because mmCM just allows you to see the options if the dongle is inserted.
mmCM Cobra and mmCM Kmeaw are essentially the same thing with some extra options visible to use with a CFW that allows them.
