It would be great if they released one free eboot from each OFW bracket (I.E, 3.56, 3.60, 3.66, 3.70, 3.72, 4.00, etc etc)... for complete proofs sake.

Perhaps we can compare the fifastreet/NG3 trueblue eboot to the E3 eboot and the regular unmodified eboot to find a common alteration.

Thats what I said too. We need to look inti aes 256 encryption decryption. Maybe there is a way to reverse it.

If e3 were smart I would make a cfw with a license system. In order to play their games you first need to connect to their servers. Thats better then a dongle and their profit will be the same. This means it will be cheaper. 9.99$ will be a great price.


Free is always better but don't expect that.

Wishful thinking.
First i doubt they have them, since they *tested* 3 different ways and what i read in the whole text was to justify the creation of another dongle.
Come on! let's be serious for a while here, who don't want to get some extra bucks if the *formula* is being selled on the black market.

This lead me to think (even more) that all was reversed and cracked and we are a simple scapegoat for them.
I have to be honest i did expect something like this from E3 searching for another window besides the e3flasher/e3cardreader in order to gain more profit.

Look at uf6667 (Progskeet), he brings the scene a hardware flasher but no intention whatsoever to create a dongle in order to fill his pockets. That's what i call a true dev committed to his cause.

P.s: The last e3 flashers limited edition the product quality dropped from mediocre to bad. So i can understand this way of thinking. After all it's all business.

Yes, I am aware of the new chain order on the latest firmwares, but as for the appldr's "keys table" check - it really needs to be "fully checked/tested".
I have a good reason to believe that it doesn't hold such a table so that, if we manage to bypass the "appldr's versions check" by patching it (maybe lv1 needs to be patched for this to work too) so the game thinks it has the appropriate/latest appldr version, and the decryption can be started by one of the 2 "old common" ways:
1. Either the decryption is being made by the supplied functions in the disc/game (maybe this can justify the C method that E3 stated) or...
2. Up until now, for "most" of the games, since 1.00 to 4.11 there was a "constant" key/function which was used to decrypt most of the ps3 games.

but like I said before, we probably need to dump a decrypted appldr (3.55 or below) and be sure of it.
If it turns out to be true , I guess the next firmware update will have keys table involved for the future appldr revisions (then we would be needing for lv0/appldr exploit ).

hmm please explain further as from my understanding the methods listed seem rather far fetched or very unlikely. again not calling fake just skeptical.
