yeah we got two crappy games free.....now pull out the credit cards and start swiping all that hacking just to release another dongle they say its not a clone but it does the exact same thing allows us to play new games on a jailbroken ps3 i held my breath and now im dead. I honestly tought the reason for a jailbroken device was to play back up games for free i might as well just pay sony, any way i will pray that Mr.JailBreak is for real or GeoHotz secretly defies sony or someone like him comes alone who actually helps people and not just looks at every gamer as a dollar sign. Any ways i tried Ninja Gaiden 3 it works after a half hour i deleted it no wonder they gave us it free why not mw3 or something like that. after they release it sony should release an instant fix or the new ps prefer to give sony my money

Many others have said that the more methods and clones that come out the more easier a free solution can appear.

I don't really understand what there plan is. To be honest, the best thing they could do as far as I'm concerned is release a completely solderless dual-noot setup that works on NAND ps3s (I mistakenly thought there was a way with progskeet, but for older ps3s there's still some soldering required). As it stands, a dual-boot solution would run me close to the price of a ps3 what with me having to also buy a good soldering iron (I have one that I wouldn't trust with this project).

Now it seems that they are going to go with option B), but they've made it obvious that whatever option they are going with does NOT REQUIRE a dongle... so what is all the talk about dongles then? (as in why are they saying that it will be a dongle, not a clone, yadayada).

Oh well, if nothing else fragmentation of the dongle b*tches can only be a good thing.

I am new on the scene and I joined when I really wanted to say something on the statement of Team E3

1. We possibly have an alternative to the TB dongle to play newer games.
2. A 4.20/4.11/4.xx CFW is huge thing for people who have not been able to or have opted not to downgrade their console (they themselves know why not)
3. What was Team E3's previous major contribution? The E3 Flasher (at a price!). What do u think is gonna happen to that if a CFW is released for "free". So definitely, a new DRM, a new dongle, but as said, anything can happen in the scene, fingers crossed.

PS : @grego ry Raputin : Always wanted to admire the way u have administered the scene. Got my chance today.

Though it doesnt smell fishy to me that E3 will deliver something like this (I do believe them) it smells fishy to me that this happens at a bad period for TB as now... My point is that there is no person that will convince me that E3 and TB teams are not related in some way... Their tactic matches the next move Tb would do... ...release yet another DRM Dongle. Argh, just enough with those DRM dongles please, this is what kills the scene of your own costumers people, it's like giving lethal drugs to your patients when you try to rape their pockets, you will get some sort of money but the costumer will end up dead because you caused it so another DRM dongle is not the answer.

What if their "USB" they are talking about is some more features as they say for everyone to "enjoy".
