Yes, you can downgrade a fat ps3 that's on 4.11 OFW to 3.55 ofw then, jailbreak it.

@Sunset Hero yes full refund. They asked why and I said it wasn't what I expected. Then they asked what I expected and I said does it matter I'm returning it. Go to the store and read their policy. Go to q different game stop and tell them you want to buy a ps3 but want to know the return policy. They will say what I just told you

Thanks for the guide itsKamal! I was able to take my OFW 3.15 PS3 to the rebug 3.55.2 CFW using your guide as a reference. I was going to install the new mmCM since it has more features than the older mm however I wasn't able to get a copy of BDEMU from your link. Is there another link for the BDEMU2 download? Yours asks me to sign in or create an account. I just replaced my PS3's HD with a larger capacity one so I'm looking forward to being able to put my game collection on my PS3 so I don't have to keep swapping disc's.

There is a link somewhere in the forum. I'd post a link, but I'm on the phone. Goto the search tap and click it then, search Bdemu2. If you can't find it, Google search bdemu2.pkg

Excuse my french, but you're full of ****. Gamestop's return policy states that they cannot give a refund for any open console. It's a rule that makes me want to punch a nun in the face. Alienate their costumer for life, but make 250 bucks in the process. Completely worth it right? Right?

I did. I wasted a half-hour fighting to get my money back. Key word of that sentence: "Wasted". I personally wish I knew where you live, so I could return my PS3 there. Apparently they're less of an ******* then the one where I live.
