Allowing changes would let known trolls / scammers / fakes hide their identity
selective allowance would make people cry about favoritism etc when one person can change but others cant.
let one change and then an influx of requests pours in.
more care should be taken when choosing usernames

how can you enforce a one change rule when you cant keep track of who has changed. think of the admin work

I'm no troll at all maybe I troll my friends but that's not related to this so does this mean I can change my name???

i didnt say that you were a troll but allowing a person to change leads the way for trolls and scammers to hide their past also.
