when i install ps3usercheat.pkg file on my ps3 i got lot of problem


first i select game from multiman then i've go to usercheat program when i start cheat ps3 jammed only show black screen so guys if ur ps3usercheat program correctly run so plz guide me how to run cheat & how to play game via usercheat program ......

I installed here (because of the ability to take screenshots) and did exactly the same as you:

Run the game from multiman/rogero
Run ps3usercheat (and press triangle to go back to xmb)
Start the game

And it worked fine here. What does not work was trying to get back to multiman and run another game without first resetting the ps3

You can alwaus use the bdRESET tool and it works, no need for reboot to change the game.

i'm getting a black screen after i exit the ps3usercheat program.
anyone else got this problem?

can u tell me how to change blus code becz many game have differnt game id

Rename the folder and edit the PARAM.SFO of the game, that should do the trick.

Well I have tested it for other reasons/projects and it's working. But haven't tested it for ps3usercheat specifficly.

Also I have noticed that the games (at least most of them) have all the versions inside their files. The PARAM "decides" which version the game should load.

For example, while I was making the translation of Uncharted 3, my version didn't have Russian language to be chosen in the options menu. But when I edited the PARAM with BLES***** (game code for different region) and started the game, the whole in-game menus looked a lot different. And of course there was the Russian language to be chosen for the subtitles. I use Russian because of the cyrllic characters, which my language uses too (Bulgarian), but that's different story.

Tried on other games, changing the regional settings this way - works like a charm.
God of War 3 for example, also has all the versions in it - I've seen them even in one of the .psarc files.

As I said, I am not 100% sure that this method works in ALL games (or with the PS3UserCheat), but I can confirm it works for the MOST of them (at least those that I've tried for my purposes).

EDIT: Don't forget to backup your original PARAM.SFO just in case that something happens and the game blackscreens (happens sometimes).

Cool, I hope I get a chance to try black ops tonight, what I don't understand is some of the cheats listed are for games on a version not even compatible with 3.55 cfw, eg. Killzone 3, infamous 2 etc.

Testing this could be of real benefit because out of the current list only 3 work for me. Thanks for the info.
