Tried the screen capture, it works on all games but some of them you can't take in-game screens as it pauses the game.

Well sadly I can't take advantage of your work then but still, the great games that I've been able to play thanks to the efforts of people like you and your friends makes me appreciative towards everybody that deals with this. Aside from great RPG gems that never made it stateside for SNES/NES/Genesis/Master System/etc, I've even been made aware of a few PC games thanks to them being translated.

Although it's not totally devoid of drama, translation scenes, for the most part, are always class acts, and given that end users can so easily help (bug reports, typos, weird text format) most of the time very community driven.

Anyways, I'm rambling, thanks for all that you guys do

About the screen resolution, well of course it just upscales the image from 720p to 1080p, but I thought it is clear enough that it doesn't make the game run native 1080p, like @deank and @euss said, 99% of the games natively are made for 720p. So editing the PARAM will just upscale the picture. It is very easy to see that the 1080p screenshot that I postet is blurry compared to the native res. one.

@NTA use the windows key on a usb keyboard (PS-button).
i cant seem to get this working, when it is running (CU) i press the PS button in-game nothing happens, when i hold the PS i get the v1 xmb. and i cant mount usb using gameDATA tool.

Well, just mount a game with multiman, then enter and exit C U (ps3usercheat) and play the game. In-game only press the PS button and you should see the XMB. Then navigate left to PHOTO and you will see it.
Then you just select "take screenshot" and take your screenshot.
Note that there are some games that go to pause menu and actually stop you from making screenshot differrent than the pause menu, wich is kinda lame... But it is what it is.

do they have to crack that verision first? any finds on the interweb?

to my understanding this screenshot function is a direct sprx call in eboot. you can see in hex the screenshot_plugin.sprx text for example. same as with discboot from deank

i think they have added additional securities/checks on latest updates from 2.0 to 2.2 as the blackscreen appears if you are using a wrong cheatlist version file

The CU version 2.2 needs to be cracked in order for the new update to be added to the list of cheats. @deank already mentioned it in this thread.
